FAQ: Covid-19 emergency and booking information for the 2020 summer

We have always encouraged you to travel and discover Italy, our beautiful land; but for some time we will all have to give priority to the well-being and safety of each of us. It’s time to travel with your mind through the memories of the holidays spent together.

To defeat Covid-19 we will be cautious, we will always wash our hands, we will smile behind the masks and even if there will be a lump in the throat, we will wait to hug our loved ones. This does not mean that we will stop. We will be careful with every gesture, but we won’t stop.

To welcome the 2020 summer season and do everything we can to make your next holidays happy and safe we have created a document of simple anti-covid prevention measures.

To all guest traveling: it is important to remember that everyone, including kids under 3 years of age, must have a valid identity document for the entire duration of the stay, and in general, of the holiday.

The situation is constantly evolving and Club Esse is reacting in strict compliance with the recommendations of WHO and Italian and local authorities to ensure the safety of our resorts and offices.

If Covid-19 emergency continues and you’ve booked a holiday

We are taking several measures to protect you by following all the government lines taken so far.

The Italian DECREE-LAW 2 March 2020, n. 9, which regulates the urgent support measures for families, workers and businesses connected to the epidemiological emergency caused by COVID-19. (20G00026) (GU Serie Generale n.53 del 02-03-2020), allows you to have a refund in case of cancellation of a reservation, which no penalty through a voucher that can be used within one year from the date of issue. We wanted to do something more and we extended the duration of the voucher until 30 September 2022.

If you have booked a stay starting by June 25, 2020, you can request the free cancellation (which is possible throughout the summer 2020), and have a refund of the paid amount with a voucher that can be used by September 30, 2022, or you can reschedule your reservation on any date from 3 July to 30 July 2020, or from 1 September onwards.


Covid-19 emergency FAQ

  • If I have booked and paid (complitely or in part) the amount of my stay, due to the Covid-19 emergency can I change the date of my booking?

You can always change the period of your stay, after checking availability, with a payment of any price differences between the the dates you would like to change. For all stays starting by June 25, 2020, it will also be possible (in addition to request a cancellation, having a refund of the amount paid with a voucher that can be used by 09/30/22 for any of the Club Esse tourist resorts) to reschedule your reservation on any date from 3 July to 30 July 2020, or from 1 September onwards.

  • If I have made a reservation for a holiday and because of the Covid-19 emergency I am not sure, will I be able to cancel my stay and receive a refund?

At the moment, the cancellation with refund of the paid amount with a voucher that can be used by 30 September 2022 is possible throughout the summer 2020.

  • If my reservation is canceled due to the Covid-19 emergency, will Club Esse refund me with a voucher?

Yes, only if the cancellation concerns a period expressly subject to the emergency and its consequent restrictions.

  • For how long will the voucher issued by Club Esse for the Covid-19 emergency last?

The decree establishes a duration of one year from its issue. We wanted to go for the extra mile for our guests by extending the duration of the voucher until 30/09/22.

  • How does the zero penalty and 100% refundable rate work?

This is a non-retroactive rate that allows you to cancel with no penalty your booking and get a refund of what has already been paid.
